There's been a lot of discussion lately about the Manx emblems. I bought a new one from the Manx club a few years ago and never used it. It is one of the ones that is slightly blemished. I'm never going to use it. What would be a fair price?

There's one on e-buy right now the last time I checked the price was over $150 and it waas missing the mounting tabs off the back. RIDONCULOUS but go for it that's where I would sell it.

My guess is the mid $400 range.

I'll never get one.
I bought my Manx II new, but my dealer never gave me my decal / emblem. I looked at a bare hood bump and 6 holes in the rear of my body for 40 years. I finaly made this for the rear this last spring. I've trimed it to look like the orignal ones since this photo was taken, it looks fine to me now.

I've got to think a larger picture would help?

STUPIDDER At least there's free shipping. For that price it better arrive at the airport with a super model attached to it......

It's not been that long ago that a running, driving Manx wouldn't bring that kind of money.

Watch, it won't even go on a real Manx, but a clone and the guy will try to sell it as the real deal!

I purchased one of my front emblems from a really nice guy in Europe for $80 last spring. That seemed like a perfectly good price to pay for an authentic emblem. Now the $850 that the full set brought in, is crazy high. But that is what makes ebay and auctions work, 2 or more people wanting the same thing. With these high prices, I expect a lot more emblems will be popping up for sale and the price will drop back down. Lets just hope they all go on true Manxes.

But are they truly period Manx emblems, or clones?
