i did not, i got side tracked by a bradly gt he has sitting there also,and i scored a set of stock beetle seats for my buggy for $30, but im stopping by there today...

Well if you are able to..... We really need a shot of the dash for the Buggy ID system. If you can grab that for us, that would be awesome! Obviously we'll put all the pictures you get of it in the gallery, but especially needing the dash.

i dont think this body has actually been used, i put the hood in place and there is no mounting holes to fasten it down, with the exception of the small holes int he bottom of the headlight buckets for wires theres no other way to put headlights in.

anybody know what tail lights work in these?? are they a stock piece from something?

Looks like early 60's beetle lights, without the metal housings, turned sideways, like a Fiberfab Clodhopper would have to me.  Tom

Judging from the size of things around them I'd say mid-60's taillights (62-67). I think the holes are to big for the snowflake style lights. How big are the holes and I can tell you definitely?

this body is heavy, and thick,twice as heavy as my sandshark, or the bc bee body ive lifted. two people can lift the others easily. the minibug it was all 3 could do to move it off the chassis

Allright I have been told we have to lighten up on the use of that name by the real Billy Bob, I meet him sat. at tha bug show in Kings Mountain NC ,and come to find out he has been at my shop before, Really good guy and he has a Spatz dune buggy truck and not a FORD Super duty, HERES BILLY BOB , The first red buggy in picture 1 is Billy Bobs and Thats him standing by the Green buggy in picture 2

I have the same wheels as on the green buggy...don't like them for the look I'm doin...but it's all I got until I find some wheel blanks.  They do look good on the green when the color matches.

I realize that this is an old thread but if anyone is listening I have a complete minibug dash windsheild and all, I have had it for about 16 years and for all of that time I have been searching for others, this is the first time I have ever seen another example!! I will post picks this spring when I can get into my barn, I am currently building a house and all of my Volksies are burried behind building supplies. I also have a Funhugger  I have been blessed to find two rare birds.
