Well of course there is a reason......

It has some pretty decent rust. Nothing penetrating, maybe some mild pitting, but the mounts are all solid.

Maybe you can get it re-chromed? Maybe powdercoat it? I don't know. What I do know is that its going to the scrap yard if no one wants it.

I won't ship it so you will have to pick it up in Western Mass.

Jeffrey, I'll take it, but won't be able to pick it up until the middle to end of June. I'm out of state right now and won't be back until around the 12th. Would it be allright to hang on to it until then?

I just got back from upstate New York and had an email from  a local guy who said he will take it this week. If he doesn't then its yours.
