I had the same problem with my allison
I just allways kept the revs up .. LOL

I think the answer is to keep her above 5,000 RPM's!!! ;-)

COme on guys...your're killin' me. It is a 40 HP with 83mm jugs and a 28 PIC carb. This ain't no road rocket!

I have been in contact with Ed B. again. He is moving our space a little to the east from last year. We will be between building T, Y and pavilion A & B where Bruce Meyers gave the talks last year. I will be there 1st thing Friday morning, so look for the tent with the manx Club banner. If John shows up with the DBA banner, that will go up also. See you there! Tom

Well got the porsche engine fired up today (finally)
Didn't drive it yet though (still gotta put the seats back in !)
I'll be there albeit not as finished as I had hoped for

Tijuana Kustoms will be having a BBQ for the all the buggy owners and friends that are attending this year!

Burgers and Hot Dogs along with cold "beverages"

It will be up in the camping area, look for the Tijuana Kustom banners and "The Imp"

Friday 21st
Time 5pm-?
Come check out the following:
The Sombrero
The Buggy Blanket
The one piece carpet kit
And something new that will make The Difference!

Also stop by Friday & Saturday night we will be kicking back around the fire pit

God willing, the 230,000 mile Chevy S-10 will pull the monocoque 10 hours to Carlisle. I am heading out tomorrow around 9 AM. See you all there!

I will be there with the Utility on Sat morning, I'm not going to bring my display due to last years theft, but say la vee. Anyhow it currently isn't running and I have alot of spit and polish to do, 80% of this car is as it was built in 1976, kind of a rat but, that adds to its charm I suppose. I don't think John is coming, so I will be the Archives rep Sat - I don't have a banner so just look for me there and say Hi !
