this is my buddy mikes, the dash is the same as the x036 pics. anyone??
hes got the full zipper sides for the top too that completely enclose the cabin like a jeep
soft top...

Nothing yet. That's why its still an X-file. Hopefully somewhere along the line someone will come along knowing what they have and be able to ID this body style.

We've sometimes been able to narrow down a body's location based on where that particular body type keeps showing up. That's not a foolproof determination, but cool to figure out none the less.

Where is your buddy's body now? (Can't tell from the plate)

That's interesting.... The X-36 buggy is owned by Brad in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I wonder what fiberglass companies were popping molds off buggies up in Michigan back in the day?

allied fiberglass that made the sandshark in dearborn mich
bc buggy = bc bee in battle creek mich
of which i own one of each :-)
are the two i know of im sure theres more in the directory...

ive searched craigslist and theres actually several of these in various states of restoration on craigslist here in michigan
