I debated posting this, We all know who created the fiberglass buggy and that is undisputedly Bruce in 1964. I stumbled on this advertisement on ebay from a Road & Track in 1958 ! and had to do a double take on the date. I don't know how to classify this body, I want to say buggy in a way and I think I will, but I have never seen any real examples so it obviously died before it's time. Very interesting though.

Actually, Alken was a mildly successful kit car manufacturer back in the day. While I've never seen that particular model, it is undoubtably on a full length chassis. So... classify it as an early kit car!
