Hello, I'm John G from Southeast Mass.  The orange buggy is mine from about 15 years ago. I'm not sure exactly what model it was, and I can't seem to find an exact match in the archives.   I sold it to buy another car and I have regretted it ever since.  That dune buggy was more fun to drive than anything I ever owned.  The green buggy body appears to be a Kellison clone.  I picked it up a few months ago and hope to get started on it as soon.[

Hey, John.
Glad to hear there is another Mass buggy enthusiast here. One of my buggies is in Westfield, Ma. I know its across the state, but it would be cool to get together once you get her up and running.

Hey John,

Another Western Mass guy here. My buggy is still all wrapped up waiting for its turn to be restored but I have a good amount of parts if you ever need anything.

Ken, Thanks for the photo, the dune buggy looks sharp.  I've got a long way to get to that point.

Jeff & Jay, Do either of you go to the Volks-Vair Fair at the Hebert Candy Factory in Shrewsbury?  I've been going for the last few years, but sadly, without an aircooled ride.

I try to make it to all the VW shows in the area (Litchfield, Volks-Vair, and one other that slips my mind right now) to get ideas and pick up parts. I have never brought any of my 3 prior buggies....people always seem to buy them before I can even drive them!

Jeffrey, have we met before? I've been good about keeping my buggy contacts in my head, but I might have to start writing it down before long so I don't lose track of the people I've met before.

I haven't made it to Litchfield yet, but hope to make it this year.  I did go to Terryville last year, again without entering a car.  I'll have to make sure I post right before the show, I'd like to meet anyone who is going.  It's nice to put faces with the screen names.

No Jay we haven't met. I guess I am kind of a recluse. Just kidding...

Time is usually a nightmare for me. Between working in central Mass, the commute, my son's sporting events, and trying to get stuff done around the house I am so hit or miss on things its almost impossible to schedule anything.
