Awsome, Thumbs up to you, You could have sold these build instructions to us,(I personally would have been more than happy to buy them),  instead you chose to offer them up free of charge. Thank You!!!

Let me know if they work for you. My server provider played ring around the rose with my site on there servers and it has been nothing less then a fiasco.

The link worked when I tried it last night.  Good luck with your hosting.  Paul...

Could you please tell me where I could find the dimensions of a bettle chassis and after the 14 1/4 inchs are cut off what the correct dimensions for a buggy chassis?

Hi I'm new to the dune buggy world and I just bought a Spatz body.  I want to get started on the project but I'm not sure what I should buy to get started.  Can I buy just a regular volkswagon or does it have to be a super beetle?  Any advice on the whole project would be much appreciated!  Thanks

Hey Hank,
Thanks for the effort, but if you look closely at the dates, that thread began in 2003 probably with good intentions, but here we are in 2011, and while Tom did post them here for a while, they are surely gone now... for whatever reasons he wanted to remove them. So, in essence... Thanks to Tom at Tijuana Kustoms, they are no longer offered. Ironic! :-)

In any event, moving forward in 2011, I would like to see them here again. They were so useful, people liked to reference them, they would always be offered free here here, and it just makes sense to continue with a good thing.

It's been over a year and a half since Tom deleted them. I did just check his site, and do not see them linked there, so I think it is time to do something about it.

Jay,
Actually the last post was made yesterday a 2:58 . In the spirit of helping out I am searching for the Tuff Tub build instructions I had and will e mail them the moment I find them. DBA has helped me in my build with both technical advice and encouragement, it's the least I can do

Cheers
Hank

Hank, I stand corrected. I was looking at the join date not the post date. Thanks for setting the record straight.

I am pleased that Tom will once again have the build instructions up for everyone to enjoy. I still plan to collect build instructions so the buggy community can have a backup... in case Tom's computer crashes again. :-) I appreciate you helping in that endevor Hank.

Hi Ken,
I saw two of your daytona's on a web site. The guy  had one for sale ( just a body) I see that you have two of them.
Here's my question to you.How much does the chas have to be shorten on a 62  bug frame for the daytona to fit?
And is there a site or a book that I can purchase to build a daytona? I know that a manx has to be cut 14 1/2" in a V cut. How about the daytona....
thanks
