X-0003

X-0004

X-0004 has a large oval opening in the front of the hood reminding us of a Cobra. The rest of the hood is smooth. Fenders are standard flat in the front and the tail has a large box with rounded sides. It could be called a double box as there is a faint outline of a second box.

X-0007

X-0007 has a unique hood with a rib that goes halfway up but then flares out into a big V shaped "scoop" but it's not a scoop. The rear fenders are very distinctive and lack any kind of ridge between the fender and the inner body.

This may be a Fiber Jet Rough Terrain.

X-0010

This buggy has the basic Manx styling. From the pictures, I think I can make out a badge like bump on the hood. It has a very wide and shallow tail box. It has a unique square custom made fuel tank and the area under the hood reflects this (as opposed to a standard VW tank opening). It also looks like the hood can be removed while leaving the dash attached to the body. This could be a feature of the buggy or something the original owner decided to do.

Looks a bit like a Lido or a Bertram Fiberglass with the curved fenders and mouth part to the hood, but the top hood patterns are both different than X-0011.

This one John calls a wide recess Lido. The front of fenders have a very flat appearance. Click Green X-0011 or Yellow X-0011 to follow the topic in the forum.

X-0012

The keys to look at on this body are the seat bottom area. It is completely flat no tool, or tire well or battery box. Also the rear seat back area above the tail. Very wide like a Spatz rear. The low sides should be a clue to.

The molded fiberglass dash is often found on cheaper bodies as they just pulled a copy of the ABS dash but couldn't make one of ABS in the boat shop they

Another unique feature of the body is the rear deck/shelf area behind the rear seat. Much bigger and flatter than a Manx. Look closely and you'll notice the sides are too low to be an exact clone.
