Dune Engines (http://www.duneengines.com) sells the 1970 Imp body style in 2011 including the side pods in both solid colors and metal flake. The bodies are produced by Acme Car Company in Pennsylvania and are available through Dune Engines and Berrian Buggy by Acme dealers. Paul Moran is the owner. Dune Engines is west of Chicago, IL and also consults on Subaru engine installations in the VW chassis.

Acme Car Company (http://www.berrienbuggy.com) manufacturers a number of different produces Berrien Buggy new buggy bodies, trikes, rails, and frames in Pennsylvania.   • 109 Dune Buggies is owned by Faron Smith and is based in Hill Country, Texas. Faron was instrumental in changing the rules to allow fiberglass dune buggies and kit cars back on the road in Texas.

  • Rails and Off-Road Repair in Denison, IA. Pat has been building buggies for years.
