Apache Roadster bodies were designed to be mountted on the shortened VW beetle chassis. They have a wider fender and larger rear deck compared to other brands of T roadster bodies. This was designed to provide better engine coverage, and wheel coverage which was becoming a more strict requirement for many states.

The Apache Roadster was also available with the same selection of rich metalflake colors as offered with Apache dune buggies, as well as the same high quality material, part thickness, and re-inforcements.

The basic roadster kit cost $495 and lights and windshield were not included.

If you look at the tail, or pickup bed of this kit, it is very disctinct in the IDTraits. The curvature of the pickup box is unlike any other model.
